Garage Conversion in Wrenthorpe, Wakefield

< Back to Residential Projects overview

The client was referred to me from a previous client who required similar works. They wanted a garage conversion to provide a large living/family room with a more attractive aspect overlooking the garden. After going through pre-application advice, it was confirmed that the works did not require planning consent and can be progressed under permitted development. This saved the client two months and the expense of planning submission fees. I was instructed to then proceed with the Building regulations drawings which were approved with only the standard conditions as you would expect on many Full Plans submissions. The approval notice was received in May 2011.

The client is looking to begin works on site during this summer with a view to complete by October 2011.

Happy Customers

"I was delighted with Ahmed's work which was always detailed and top quality. His knowledge of other projects was extensive and his recommendations well thought out, but it was his easy going nature and the ease with which we could discuss both the process and the design which made him great to work with. I would highly recommend him to others."
