This project included a single storey rear and side extension on a large semi-detached property with a large corner plot in Ilford, East London. All works are now at snagging stage with only minor finishing touches taking place. The design includes a fantastic games room and luxury breakfast kitchen with bi-folding doors overlooking the gardens.
The second phase of the project is a loft conversion providing two additional en-suite bedrooms (total six bedrooms when complete). However, due to limited budget, the client decided to progress the loft conversion during the early part of 2012.
As with all our clients, we went through various design options during the planning stage until the client was satisfied with the layout and it met all their requirements. We submitted the drawings for planning approval which was successfully received in February 2010. A Building Regulations application was also submitted on behalf of the client. We finally assisted the client on sourcing a quality builder to build the extensions and formalised the contracts between both parties.
The photos show the house extension and other parts of the house remodelled in its final stages of completion. The property has developed into a quality family home where the client is due to move in during the summer (August 2011).
