The proposal was to build an en-suite bedroom over the existing garage and convert the existing double garage as a luxury breakfast kitchen and dining room.
We produced a number of options for client before they decided on their preferred layout. The final scheme included a large master bedroom, attached dressing room, luxury en-suite and a fantastic breakfast kitchen with bar area.
The planning approval has now been received from Stockport Borough Council on 12th March 2011. As expected, the approval was a formality as there are numerous properties on the road that have set the precedent for something very similar. Also, the elevational design very much remains in keeping with the area and the neighbouring properties generally.
The client is looking build the extension during the summer of 2012.
