Two Storey Rear Extension in Stockport (Green Pastures)

The client purchased this run down property to create a fantastic family home. His requirements were to build a two storey rear extension the full width of the property. The additional accommodation consisted of a magnificent guest lounge, family room, and three extended bedrooms with en-suite facilities and balcony.
We went through a detailed design process producing various plan layouts that would benefit the client in many ways. The client then selected the preferred layout which was submitted to the local authority.
We submitted the householder application for planning permission and was approved by the local authority in January 2009 with no implications raised from the council.
The client had good contacts with quality local builders so he decided to progress the build of the extension under a Building Notice. The works were completed during the summer of 2009 and has been transformed into a fantastic family home.
