Two Storey Side Extension in Sheffield (High Storrs)

This project consisted of a garage conversion, front porch extension and a first floor extension. The new accommodation included a large breakfast kitchen with utlity room, two equally sized bedrooms above the existing garage and an additional shower room for the growing family. We produced two design options which we then collaborated together to achieve the clients preferred layout.
The site benefits from a corner plot with no overshadowing on to neighbouring properties.
The client approached us to submit this application for planning approval urgently. The drawn plans were completed and approved by the client within 3 working days and is now submitted to the local authority.
The approval process from Sheffield City Council originally seemed like a formality but this proved quite a challenge after there were some objections from the local authority. After a fortnight of serious negotiations with the planning department, planning approval was finally granted and approved for the originally submitted proposal (which was the clients preferred design). Another happy client!
